I have always been a very picky eater, and sometimes I find it hard to eat enough protein, especially being vegan. I don’t like meat and eggs (obviously), and I can’t stand the texture of protein powder and most nuts. So that doesn’t leave me many options for snacks. I love the flavor of almonds but can’t stand the texture of raw almonds, so my Reggie invented an vegan ice cream recipe for me to try. And it was perfect!



See the recipe below. It has 4 servings, and each serving has 14g of protein!




  1. Boil the almonds for 1 minute to blanch them. 
  2. Peel the almonds.
  3. Blend the almonds with ½ cup of milk.
  4. Add all the other ingredients into the blender and blend.
  5. You can keep it in the freezer, or in the fridge if you are like me and prefer a softer texture.
